Fontana is yet another Wally Holiday park. Its kind of wierd seeing all these different skatepark companies building these awesome parks but I'll take 'em. This is a rad park but something was wierd about it. It did not seem to be built aswell as some of his other parks like clairemont and upland. The big bowl has some wierd spots but not enought to complain. The concrete might have been a little off too. I don't know. Pool coping sure would have made a diffence. Funny how it can do that.

One of the awesome things about this park is how it was designed to let kids progress. There are three different bowls/bowl areas in the park. Each one progressively gets bigger. This allows for two things. One. It keeps little kids who have no buisness in the big bowl out until they are ready. Two. It lets kids, who have never skated bowls, work there way up to the gnar dog stuff. The small bowl has mellow roll ins and large trannys so kids can skate it without dropping in. Then the mid bowl has steep banks to roll in to get them ready to drop in. The mid bowl also has lots of wierd stuff in it to have fun with. Like ledges on top of hips and all that. It also has a crazy flyout for those kids that are into that type of thing. Both smaller bowl are surprisingly fun if you are not a beginner aswell but it is hard to take your self away from the big bowl.
As usual the big bowl was the draw for me. A combi, clover, whatever bowl with three depths and

four hips. The depths are something like 10 foot round, 7 foot square and 5 foot shallow. The steel coping has a good grind for being steel but it is still not block. I am not a fan of the square hip that separates the low and mid section but its not bad. There is a wierd spot in deepend that really makes you squirly but once you get used to it you dont notice it. Overall its a great park and there are two more sick parks down the road.
